The game is played by matching up the symbols to make three of a kind. The game is equipped with a bonus round and an added progressive jackpot making it just as exciting as any other game provided by RTG.

The bonus round is played by obtaining either the "Bull" and "Matador" symbols on the payline. Once you have matched them the trigger is featured and you will be given the opportunity to choose between one of the two characters as the winner in a duo. After your selection has been made you will see the Bull start to charge. If he hits the Matador, the Matador will flatten, if he does not hit than the Matador will move and let him pass. Winning will be based on your selection prior to the bull fight. The largest payout that you can receive on El Toro is by matching up 3 Red 7's on your payline. If you are fortunate to do this you could find yourself a lot richer winning a big progressive jackpot. Players must know that the progressive jackpot is only available to be won by placing the maximum bet which is 3 credits. It's in your best advantage to play all 3 credits as there is nothing worse than landing that big payoff and realizing that you don't qualify.

To play the game players must insert money into the machine. This can be done simply by touching any one of the coin denominations on the right hand side. Your money will be quickly converted to credits. Once this is done you will see a tab with the word "credits" displayed. This button is for you to decide how many credits you want to play.
